What is Spyware Protection Pro and how it can help me?
Spyware Protection Pro is a tool to help you to protect privacy of your system. Spyware Protection Pro includes extensive Spyware
detection techniques to find hidden Spyware and help you to remove them completely, even when that would not be possible manually.
Spyware Protection Pro has extensive database of thousands of Spyware definitions to ensure the best possible results in cleaning your
system.
Spyware Protection Pro scans your system for:
- Spyware - Spyware is software installed on your system without your knowledge that gathers information about the work done by you.
This information is stored on your computer so that it can be retrieved later by whoever controls the Spyware. The stolen information can
include information about websites you visit, which ads you click on, your name, email addresses, passwords, buying habits and
more.
- Adware - Adware is software which goes beyond the reasonable advertising that one might expect from freeware or shareware. They are
separate programs that are installed with or without the user's permission. Adware often will continue to generate advertising even when the
user is not running the originally desired program. Adware can present itself as a pop-up web page, an unwanted toolbar, or annoying pop-up ads
on your computer screen while surfing on the Internet.
- Key Loggers - These are a type of Spyware that works in the background, spying on everything that you type on your computer. Key
Loggers record everything typed, including emails, instant messages, chats, and website addresses, saving them into built-in flash memory to be
sent later to the Adware controller. When a key logger is running on your system you will not notice any change in system behavior, while in the background the important and confidential data that you are typing is being transferred to someone else.
- Browser Hijackers - Browser Hijackers are tools that will forcibly change your browser settings, often hijacking your Start and
Search page settings to send you instead to a preferred site of the hacker. The changes are made in such a way that it is impossible to
manually change the settings back to your own preferences - the hijacker steals them back the next time you restart your computer. These
settings are usually hidden in the system registry and in files in obscure locations on your hard drive, making it extremely difficult to
correct manually.
- Malware - Malware is the common name for malicious software. This type of softwares is designed specifically to damage or aggravate
a system, such as a virus or a Trojan horse. Often hidden in downloaded programs or triggered by visiting rogue websites, Malware is any
program or file that is harmful to a computer user.
